Privacy Augmented Relaying of Information from Sensors (PARIS)

Defined the contextual privacy problem for resource constrained sensor networks and proposed low-overhead, energy efficient, robust privacy solutions that augment current routing algorithms. I also developed a discrete event simulator for large scale sensor networks as part of this work. Funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).

Security and Privacy in Vehicular Networks

Designed a scalable security and privacy framework for vehicular networks using pairings based cryptography. Our solution balances the need for privacy and anonymity with the need for auditable communication in such networks.

Trusted Radio Infrastructure for Enforcing spectrum Etiquettes (TRIESTE)

Member of a team that designed a security framework for cognitive radio networks. It allows for spectrum policy enforcement at each individual radio and co-operative detection of policy violations.

Open Access Wireless Research Testbed (ORBIT)

Member of the core development and operations team, in the research effort to design and build a 400 node wireless research testbed. Technical lead on the design and development of the ORBIT measurement framework and wireless virtualization efforts. Funded by NSF.

GENI:Global Environment Network Innovations

Member of the winlab team assisting NSF in building a global scale network for experiments and innovation. This effort is aimed towards building the next generation internet. Our group is primarily focussed on the wireless networking aspect of GENI and my contribution is directed towards designing the experiment control and management framework for wireless GENI.
