Secure multicast in multi-hop wireless networks

Collaborative effort to design and implement a robust, key disclosure protocol for securing multicast communication in multi-hop wireless networks. A working prototype using portable wireless devices was built and demoed.

Content Integrity Service

Collaboratively designed a secure content integrity service for long-term digital archives and implemented it as part of the HP digital media platform. Cryptographic primitives such as secure hash functions and merkle hash trees were used to make the system robust against key compromises and advancements in cryptanalysis.

Anymedia

AnyMedia is a high-density multi-service access platform for narrowband and broadband services. As member of the software R&D team, my contributions included embedded software for controlling Line Cards and performance monitoring and a Feature Manager module that streamlined the software development process.

Pathstar Access Server

PathStar is a next-generation, carrier-grade, packet-based, Class 5 switch for converging voice and data traffic. As a member of the software R&D team, I designed and developed a secure CORBA interface for the Pathstar Element Management System (EMS).

FoxyTrader Inc. (Principal Software Engineer) Sep. 1999 – Sep. 2000

Trading and Financial Services Platform

Part of the core (4 person) team that launched this startup company. We designed and developed a financial services infrastructure product to provide direct access trading bundled with comprehensive portfolio management and performance measurement tools. My contributions included: business development, developing the technical vision, system design, software development and network administration.
