Biography

Suli Zhao successfully defended her Ph.D. dissertation in September 2007. She received the M.S and B.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing, China.

Between 2002-2007, she was a research assistant at the Wireless Information Networking Laboratory (WINLAB) at Rutgers University. Before that, she worked as a research engineer at Nokia Research Center, Beijing, China, with the 3G Mobile Communications Group.

Her dissertation is "On the Scalability of Ad Hoc Wireless Networks", advised by Dr. Dipankar Raychaudhuri.


Research Interests

  • Mobile communications and wireless networking.

  • Ad hoc mesh networks and mobile cellular networks.

  • System architecture and protocol design, development, evaluation, and analysis.
