ººI obtained my Ph.D. degree from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of Rutgers University,
under the supervision of Professor
Roy D Yates and Professor
Predrag Spasojevic .
My home at
Rutgers University was
WINLAB, Wireless Information Networking Laboratory , where I spent several years as a Graduate Assistant.
Before enrolling in the Ph.D. program, I worked in the industry for more than 12 years, and in parallel I earned my Masters degree in ECE.
I worked as an embedded-software developer and protocol designer, mostly in the field of communications and networking. You can find my engineering resume
here .
My research interests are power-efficient wireless network protocols, scalability of search
and connectivity in sensor networks, network information theory and coding, and many others.
Since February 2009, I worked as a visiting researcher at the EE department of Princeton University. Currently, I am packing my bags to spend the next year in Inria, Saclay Ile-De-France as a post-doctoral researcher. At the same time, I got a summer assignment at Bell Labs, Murray Hill, helping Carl Nuzman and the rest of the crew test the impact of RFI on their ingenious VDSL cross-talk cancellation method.
