−To develop a framework for cooperative spectrum sensing on the USRP2 platform using the Universal Hardware Driver (UHD)

−To utilize multiple USRP2’s in a cooperative manner to determine occupancy of a particular segment of

RF Spectrum

−To include a central control system for the USRP2’s within the framework as well as allow for a data aggregation center where post-processing as well as spectrum occupancy decisions are made

−To provide a data compression method at each node before sending sensing data to the data aggregator to minimize required bandwidth and storage

−If time allows, to provide some sort of visualization tool for the spectrum sensing data as it streams
